Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BareBits services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Service Description

BareBits provides Bitcoin Lightning Network payment processing services, enabling businesses to accept Bitcoin payments with low fees (2%) and instant settlement. Our services include:

• Payment processing through Bitcoin Lightning Network
• Integration tools and APIs
• Transaction management and reporting
• Customer support

User Responsibilities

Users of BareBits services agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Use the service only for legal business purposes
• Not engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Maintain the security of their account credentials
• Respect the rights of other users and third parties

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code

Payment Terms

BareBits charges a 2% fee on all processed transactions. Fees are deducted automatically from each transaction. Users are responsible for:

• Understanding Bitcoin Lightning Network transaction fees
• Maintaining sufficient Bitcoin balance for transactions
• Compliance with tax obligations related to Bitcoin transactions

Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high service availability, BareBits does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Bitcoin Lightning Network maintenance
• System updates and improvements
• Technical difficulties
• Force majeure events

Limitation of Liability

BareBits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a payment dispute with a vendor who uses BareBits, you must work with that vendor directly as we have no access to vendor funds. We are unable to issue refunds or mediate any disputes.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of BareBits and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
